The overall task was to identfiy and use punctuation in sentences.
The first task was idenfiying punctuation. I moved the correct symbols and sentences that match the punctuation.
The second task was trying to use all of the punctutaion in as few sentences as we could. I had five sentences using all of the punctuation.
I found this task very intresting becuase now I know how to use all punctuation when im writing.

Explain The Idiom
This week for reading we did a activity called explain the idiom.
We needed to film 3 videos of my group explaining the idiom. First one we did was crack a book. First Xavier Needs to act board and I say crack a book.
Second idiom was tip off. Xavier needed to buy some books and I tipped him off by saying its 100 dollars. tip off means our trying to let the other person lose money.
And the last idiom was second to none. Me and Xavier did a flip on the monkey bars and Xavier won the battle so I said your second to none Xavier. Second to none means that person is the best.
We had to put all our videos on separate slides.

Swimming
Today for kiwi sport we went to the Logan swimming pools.
First skill I learnt was how to float. First you need to lie on your back then kick.
Second skill I learnt was stroke. First put two hands together then make sure your legs are straight then kick, but when you kick do small kicks.
Then I learnt how to scale. First you need to put two hands in the water. Then push it left and right.
After that skill we did the float on the board. First you need to sit on the board and scale.
I enjoyed doing he stroke and the hardest thing I learnt was float on a board.

Multiplication is a easier way to count he same number.
For example 3+3+3+3+3+3+3 is counting three 7 times so 7x3= 21
These slides show the 3 and 6 time tables.

Today I leaned how to make tangrams. I rearranged the piece of paper because to make animals shapes.
First I made a square piece of paper because tangrams are made from a big squares.
Then I folded the squares into various shapes and cut them out
Lastly, I tried to make different animals shapes from the tangrams pieces.

The two slides show the 2 times table and the 5 times tables.
L.I To learn the time tables.
