The Moon

The Moon
File:FullMoon2010.jpg

The moon goes around the earth in an orbit. The moon is much
smaller than earth. There is no air on the moon. On the moon
there are deserts and valleys. If there is no moon in the sky at
night the tides will dry up. The moon looks different depending
on where it is in relation to the position of the sun.  The moon
affects Earth’s ocean tides. The moon is the earth’s only
natural satellite.
