Read the poem
Identify the two metaphors in the poem. Marshmallows - boats. This refers to marshmallows floating in the hot chocolate
Chocolate sea - refers to hot chocolate looking like the sea.
Identify the simile. Like a silver typhoon refers to a spoon.
Write down the pairs of rhyming words sea and me pink and sink wobble and bobble
Today my class and I did a poem that was could storm in a teacup. It was hard and difficult.
